When planning your party, please note the following:

– We ask that all party guests follow our Sanctuary Safety rules to keep our residents and guests safe, secure and comfortable. Adult guests attending the party should assist HFS staff with this as needed. Guests displaying inappropriate or unsafe behavior may be asked to leave the sanctuary.

– The event host may arrive fifteen minutes prior to the start time of your party. Your HFS event guide will meet you under the pavilion at this time. Please note: A staff member must accompany HFS guests at all times so please do not leave the pavilion area until your guide comes to meet you. Prior to your arrival time, your event guide is busy setting things up for the event. Guests who arrive early are welcome to stay under the pavilion until the event start time. Thank you!

All celebration guests MUST have a waiver on file prior to the party start time. Our event guides are required to check waiver status and if a child arrives who does not have a waiver on file, he or she will be limited to the pavilion area and will need an adult to supervise. We cannot make any exceptions to this policy. Thank you! Please find our online waiver form here. This link should be sent to any party guests.

– Our animals often enjoy interaction with people, but we never demand cooperation from them. (We all have our good and bad days, right?)

– Close-toed shoes are required. Rain boots are best, as conditions are often muddy in some areas.

– All food brought to the sanctuary must be vegetarian or vegan.

– Porta potty and handwashing station available!
