Incredibly sweet, vocal, and enthusiastic about life!
Swimming in her pool, and diving for her favorite snack - green peas - in her pool!
In July of 2019, a six-week-old Rudy was dropped off at the sanctuary. As a small duckling, Rudy had survived a mink attack, which took one eye and blinded her in the other. At the time, Rudy was too young to stay at the sanctuary so was lovingly fostered by our staff member, Julie, and her family. Once she was old enough to fly the coop at Julie's, Rudy joined the Heartland flock and now shares her space with her friend (also a duck who has visual impairments) named Baxter.
