Daisy is confident, fiery and very smart!
Snacking on hay, graham crackers and animal cookies, sunbathing in the manure pile, getting brushed
Daisy was rescued from a cattle auction by a loving Heartland supporter. She came to Heartland with her pal, Beau, in June 2015. Daisy and Beau arrived at the barn scared and sick, but with proper medication and extra TLC from the Heartland staff and volunteers, they both blossomed into happy, healthy, and playful cows. In 2023, we sadly lost Beau, which was a devastating loss to all of us at the sanctuary, but especially Daisy. She mourned Beau's loss, and our community rallied around her to give her extra attention, love and grooming in Beau's absence.
