Majestic yet a little timid, Chadwick is truly a big sweetheart.
Trying to keep up with his flock of hen friends, snacking on sunflower seeds and corn!
Handsome Chadwick was rescued from a cock-fighting bust in Washington state, and has the telltale signs of being used for fighting: his comb and wattles (both rich blood sources) have been cut off, which prevents them from being torn off by another rooster during a fight. After Chadwick's initial rescue, he sat in a shelter in less-than-ideal conditions for two months before being rescued by FBS. Chadwick is currently getting used to his new digs and new hen family: Pandora, Xena, Hershey, Petri & Daria. We are so happy to welcome Chadwick to his new forever home - survivors of cockfighting are some of the absolute sweetest roosters we've ever known!
