Other ways to visit Heartland

Sanctuary Sundays

Offered on Sundays during the month of May from 1-2:45 pm, Sanctuary Sundays are visits to the sanctuary led by our Humane Educators and designed for small groups and families with younger children. These specialized tours include activities and animal introductions geared for younger children. Join us for a relaxing, fun visit to our sanctuary, meet some of our animals, and participate in some play time at the barn! Group numbers will be limited to six people per group and there are parts of the tour that will require adults to keep children by the hand. The fee per family/group is $75.

Virtual Tours

Would you like to tour Heartland from the comfort of your home? We will "bring" our rescued residents to you through a virtual tour of our sanctuary! Learn more about HFS as an organization, the programs we offer, and ask your tour guide questions!

Muddy Boots Disclaimer:

Conditions at the barn are sometimes muddy. Wear appropriate (close-toed) shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Long pants are best. You may want to bring along a filled water bottle for hot days. Tours are held rain or shine!
