Cupcake originally started boarding at Heartland before becoming a forever part of the Heartland family. She arrived with her sister Princess, who sadly passed away in 2022. Their owner was in a homeless shelter for two months after a domestic violence incident, and then placed in a small apartment where pigs obviously aren't allowed. It has been a very difficult and sad situation for their owner, but we are thankful we could keep Cupcake and Princess together in a safe space. Cupcake is a regular favorite in Heartland's mini pig crowd - you'll often find her outside grazing with her friends or taking a nap in a shady mud spot.
