Our annual gala is a formal dinner and auction benefit held every year in the summer. In 2012, the event was held at the Madison Concourse Hotel on Friday, August 10th. Dinner guests enjoy a gourmet meal including wine and fine desserts. We welcomed over 200 guests for a cocktail reception, dinner, dancing with live entertainment and fabulous silent and live auctions.
This event has a more selective attendance than our other events. Any business that wants to attract some of the area’s most influential community members might consider an Annual Gala sponsorship. Employers looking for a unique opportunity to reward top performing staff or valued clients might consider that all sponsorship levels include seating.

During the summer, we offer four children’s summer camps aimed at teaching kids about the amazing lives of farm animals and how people can help care for them. The camps offer a chance for youth ages 7 to 12 to learn about the animals’ different personalities and abilities, how to care for each type of animal, and the natural world in which they live. In addition to direct animal contact (feeding, grooming, and petting the animals), campers will go on nature hikes and scavenger hunts, play team-building games, and get time to complete nature and animal-themed arts and crafts. Camp Heartland is a one-of-a-kind learning experience that kids will never forget! The camp sponsor will have their logo displayed on the camp T-shirts and all promotional materials.
Sponsorship of a stall helps with the costs of caring for our barn animals. A stall sponsorship will include a special personalized plaque on the stall you are sponsoring, for all visitors to see and appreciate your generosity. You may choose to place a business logo, your name or an “in memory” personalization on the plaque.
Your sponsorship will contribute to providing an animal with a safe barn, green pasture, quality food, veterinary care, and plenty of attention from our caregivers and the other animals. Upon starting your sponsorship you will receive a beautiful photo of your selected animal, along with his or her unique story. You can also get to know your sponsored animal through visits to our barn, and see how your donation is being put to work.
