Speckles came with to Heartland with his fellow rooster, Rex. They were surrendered to Heartland when their owner was forced to move from her farm home. Speckles needed a partial wing amputation after a predator attack, but now he does just fine getting around. He can still fly up to his perch and is quite happy to spend the day taking dirt baths with his buddy, Rex.
