Gracie was transferred from a local animal shelter. She was surrendered to the shelter because her owner could no longer care for her. Her goose partner had died, and she was vulnerable to the winter and predators. Now, Gracie is one of the matriarchs of the Heartland barn. She used to follow the people around the barn everywhere, but now she has other waterfowl at the barn to socialize with. Gracie is becoming the goose that nature intended. She also had a brief May-December romance with Bert, one of Heartland's sheep. But that ended because Bert kept stepping on her leg. Love hurts.
