Esme came along with Eddie and Garcia from the home of a 13 year old Twilight fan, who was no longer able to care for them. She originally came with the name "Jake," but Heartland staff decided that Esme seemed a little more fitting. She never seemed to be the werewolf type, anyway.
Kind, gentle, and VERY curious! Esme likes to learn about things by gently pecking at them, whether it be rings, buttons, zippers, or boots. She is always observing her surroundings, and is most likely to be found with Eddie, following barn workers and visitors around to see what they are up to.
Grapes!! Fresh produce, especially leafy green lettuce.
