At Heartland Farm Sanctuary, we like to celebrate each Thanksgiving by honoring the rescued animals who call our sanctuary home! The 2nd Annual “Feast for the Turkeys” will take place on Wednesday, November 21 at 11:00 a.m. at our barn in Verona. Please join us for this memorable and heartwarming event where you can meet the guests of honor and serve them a delicious feast of squash, pumpkin pie, cranberries, and stuffing.
Start a new tradition this Thanksgiving and “adopt” a turkey instead of eating one…
Adopt a Turkey ProjectThe holiday season is a time for compassion and, when so many turkeys and other animals are eaten, what a gift it is to sponsor one instead! This year, we are pleased to introduce the Adopt a Turkey Project. The goal is to encourage people to save a turkey at Thanksgiving through sponsorships that help us provide care for our rescued turkeys, as well as educate and advocate for turkeys and other farm animals everywhere. For a one-time donation gift of just $30, anyone can sponsor one of our four turkeys. Your gift will include admission to the Feast for the Turkeys event!
